Manchester United's chances of outscoring the opposition have vastly increased after they announced the loan signing of Radamel Falcao from Monaco.

The Colombian striker has scored 104 goals in 139 games since moving to Europe in 2009 and finds the net every 177 minutes in average, as per The BBC

El Tigre has many incredible golazos in his portfolio, but here they are whittled down to his finest 10 strikes...

10. Colombia vs. Paraguay, 2012

1 of 10

Falcao has scored 20 senior goals for Colombia, two of which came in a 2014 World Cup qualifier against Paraguay in October 2012.

The talismanic striker opened the scoring in the 51st minute when he picked up the ball on the edge of the area, cut in and beat a defender and launched an effortless left-footed shot past the goalkeeper.

9. River Plate vs. Quilmes, 2008

Falcao scores so many of his goals via powerful headers, so it would be remiss not to include at least one on this countdown.

Here's one of his efforts for River Plate in Argentina, which saw El Tigre leap several feet into the air before delivering a looping header over the keeper.

8. Atletico Madrid vs. Deportivo La Coruna, 2012

3 of 10

One of Radamel Falcao's most devastating performances in an Atletico Madrid shirt came in December 2012, when he scored five goals in the 6-0 defeat of Deportivo La Coruna.

His fifth goal was beautifully taken, but the pick of the bunch was surely his second strike, a brilliant volley from the edge of the area.

7. Millonarios vs. Atletico Madrid, 2012

4 of 10

In May 2012, Atleti played a pre-season friendly at Colombian side Millonarios. The Spanish team were 2-1 victors, thanks in part to a wonderful overhead kick from Falcao.

6. Porto vs. Benfica, 2010

5 of 10

Porto defeated reigning Portuguese champions Benfica 5-0 in November 2010, with two of those goals coming from Falcao. The finest of the two strikes was an audacious backheel, hit on the volley with his back to goal.

5. Athletic Bilbao vs. Atletico Madrid, 2012

6 of 10

Falcao singled himself out as one of Europe's most valuable commodities in Atleti's 2011-12 Europa League campaign.

He scored his 11th and 12th goals of the competition in the final against Athletic Club, taking just seven minutes to open the scoring with a beautifully-placed shot into the top-left corner.

4. Mallorca vs. Atletico Madrid, 2012

7 of 10

Atleti were beaten 2-1 at Mallorca in March 2012 thanks to two goals conceded shortly after the break.

However, just past the hour mark they earned a stunning consolation when Falcao delicately lobbed goalkeeper Dudu Aouate from outside the box.

3. Atletico Madrid vs. Valencia, 2012

8 of 10

During a Europa League semi-final against Valencia in 2012, Falcao picked up a long ball on the right flank and charged toward goal. After bamboozling two defenders, he unleashed an unstoppable shot that ricocheted off the crossbar.

As previously mentioned, Atleti went on to win the competition that season and Falcao finished top scorer with 12 goals.

2. Porto vs. Maritimo, 2010

9 of 10

Falcao finished as second-highest scorer in the Portuguese Liga in 2009-10 with a tally of 25 goals. The Colombian led the scoring charts in April of that season thanks to a stunning performance against Maritimo, in which he scored an incredible overhead kick.

1. America De Cali vs. Atletico Madrid, 2012

10 of 10

In May 2012, Atleti played a friendly against America de Cali. The La Liga side beat the Colombians 2-1 and Falcao opened the scoring with a stupendous scissor kick volley from the corner.

United fans will be hoping he unleashes a few of these at Old Trafford in 2014-15.
