In case you haven't been paying attention to all of the important news coming out of the sports world, Tony Romo has broken up with Jessica Simpson. Yes, everyone's favorite tuna lover is back on the market.

In honor of this wonderful day, let's check in with other famous exes of athletes and try to guess where these beautiful free agents will be heading.

Poor Jessica. First Nick Lachey, and now Tony Romo. For someone this hot, she sure does get dumped a lot.

I would suggest that the woman with some of the largest...vocal chords in the business go after Matt Leinart, but seeing as he and Lachey are buddies, a strict "bros before hos" policy would keep that from happening.

If Romo really is her type, maybe Jessica needs to go after another QB who hasn't really done anything to deserve the kind of hype that he gets.

Tom Brady's baby mama had it rough. Ol' Tommy knocked her up and then split in favor of the most beautiful woman in the world. That has to do a number on your confidence.

Moynahan needs a hot new stud to take on and make Brady jealous—an up and coming quarterback who can threaten Tom's dominance.

Rachel Reynolds used to date Josh Booty, the former MLB third baseman and NFL quarterback.

Yeah, exactly. Who?

Reynolds obviously has the talent to go big time. She's holding herself back by dating no-name players like that.

She obviously appreciates an athlete that can do it all, so in the future she should hook up with another quarterback who seemingly has all the tools.

Halle Berry

Some of you may not know that back in the '90s, Halle Berry was actually married to David Justice. Since then, Halle has stayed away from athletes.

But since she is still on the market, I think it's about time for her to make some waves and go after a superstar athlete and get back on everyone's radar. Cougars getting with younger men is all the rage, and Berry (43) definitely qualifies.

Since she looks so good in a bikini, I think it's important to keep her in a warm climate.

Somehow Brad Penny managed to snag Eliza Dushku at one point in time, but she is currently available after coming to her senses.

This Dollhouse hottie has a thing for pitchers, but she should try getting with someone a little more talented. Barry Zito is the playboy for the Giants, but I think it's time a different San Francisco pitcher got a little play.

Leeann Tweeden is the typical hot girl story: girl starts working at Hooters, girl gets noticed and gets a modeling gig, girl poses for magazines, girl starts dating a professional athlete.

She dated fireballer Josh Beckett for a little while before he apparently got a little upset at her posing for FHM. Tweeden needs to get with an athlete who doesn't have a problem with a high-profile girlfriend.

The former Miss USA used to date super-hitter Joe Mauer.

If Cooley likes being in Minnesota and likes players who aren't flashy but get the job done, I think I know just the player for her.

Gabrielle Union is fine. She's also been accused of being somewhat of a homewrecker in the sports world.

She was rumored to be the one who broke up Dwyane Wade's marriage, and an anonymous athlete's wife wrote a letter calling her out.

I don't care if she goes for single or taken men out there—Union needs to get with some athlete somewhere so we can see more of her.

Since she's already in L.A., I know of a new baller who could use someone like her on his team.

With a name like Veronica Varekova, you just knew she was going to look this good. The former girlfriend of hockey player Petr Nedved is just too fine to be sitting on the sidelines.

Jaromir Jagr's former flame is ridiculously hot.

I can think of no better athlete for Ms. Veresova to get hooked up with than another Penguin superstar.

We would forgive anything, especially a stupid handshaking controversy, if he started bringing Andrea around more often.
