Well it has been confirmed the Super Aguri formula one team are no more! certainly for many formula 1 fans it is unwelcome news, the extremely hard working and very like-able team have failed in there bid to secure a sustainable financial future. It is understandably been a devastating blow to team principal and founder Aguri Suzuki whom has worked tirelessly to secure the teams future, unfortunately after a deal almost brokered with the Dubai-based Magma group fell through the team have almost faced certain doom and financial collapse.

The question must now be asked what of the future of Takuma Sato whom the team was originally set up for to guarantee a permanent f1 drive and Anthony Davidson the British driver now stranded without a team? Both drivers im sure will be looking for a new drive and team for the future but who? Both drivers have shown extreme promise and the odd moment of genius lets not forget Takuma's giant killing pass on Fernando Alonso in Canada last year.

Whilst both drivers will be looking to the future they must now look for a car with competitive pace and a team with a real sense of direction leaving behind a like-able team which so much of the time seemed to lack both important qualities, It could be said that for all of the teams hard work they simply lacked enough formula 1 intelligence and experience to ever make a definitive impact especially in such a high paced and competitive sport.

Aguri Suzuki is now looking forward to some much needed time off, All things considered he has done a very good job over the last two and a half years, He has worked very hard with the team and the drivers, Unfortunately his team will not be at this weekend's Turkish grand prix but I get the feeling we have not heard the last of Aguri Suzuki, Takuma Sato, or Anthony Davidson. We have however heard the last of Super Aguri a charismatic and fan-favorite team who will be sorely missed this weekend.
