Late moves for the likes of Nathaniel Chalobah and Marco van Ginkel took Chelsea's total of players out on loan at other clubs to a remarkable 26.

The loanees are spread across eight countries, in places as far afield as Chile and Greece.

Several players will appear for rivals in the Premier League, including the likes of Ryan Bertrand at Southampton, Victor Moses at Stoke and Christian Atsu at Everton.

But with such a strong first-team squad as it is, it's hard to see many of the players on the list breaking into the Chelsea team next season—or indeed ever.
