You can tell you're a hockey fan if you begin feeling miserable the day after the last game of the Stanley Cup Final (unless you're a fan for the Championship team and luckily this year, I am). But even so, I miss hockey; I miss watching it, I miss talking about it and I miss reading about it.
Luckily, having a blog keeps me pretty busy with the little off-season stuff that may normally go unnoticed to the average fan or else I would go completely crazy.
Simply, I love hockey.
But I'm in luck today as I accidentally stumbled across news that the NHL plans to release the 2009-2010 schedule later this afternoon and I am just thrilled beyond words.
According to NHL.com, the 2009-2010 schedules will be released at 3 pm E.T. today coinciding with a major event planned for 2 pm E.T. at Boston's Fenway Park (the announcement of the Winter Classic).
You are able to watch the event on the NHL Network or NHL.com.
