Robert Griffin III became the first Baylor Bears football player to win the Heisman Trophy back in 2011. Three years later, the school immortalized their former quarterback in the form of a bronze statue.

Baylor officially unveiled the statue of RGIII at McLane Stadium prior to Sunday's game against the SMU Mustangs. Before doing so, Griffin spoke to the Bears fans in attendance.

Here's a close-up look at the back of the statue.
