UCLA 28, Virginia 20 ; FINAL
The No. 7 UCLA Bruins narrowly (and sloppily) defeated the upstart Virginia Cavaliers by a score of 28-20. The defense buoyed the Bruins' efforts with three touchdowns, which included two interception returns for touchdowns.
Virginia put up a very valiant effort. Defensively, the Cavaliers were flying all around the field. Matt Johns may have also solidified his place as the starting signal-caller.
