Chicago Cubs, Alfonso Soriano

I noticed that Alphonso Soriano started making the sign of the cross before his last at bat and "boom," he starts to make contact. I still wonder how he commanded a huge dollar contract as I have yet to see Soriano and clutch have anything to do with one another.

Maybe Mark De Rosa should go through some set of signs before he steps up to the plate so that he might exit his massive slump. Mark, see the ball then attack it not the other way around.

  1. Hey Mike, good read. Maybe get a little more insight next time, as I think you have more to say than you realize. But a good start. Anyway, I don't think Soriano's slump is over quite yet - though he's startign to hit. I think we should hold off on that until we see a couple solid weeks of good baseball from him. What a bust so far.

Another one is D-Lee with men on base lately, he's in a mini-slump too.
