I can't credit this breaking news to myself: a poster on my last story about Sulak rumors did it for me.

This morning I checked raiders.com to see about validity of the Sulak rumors: no validity.

Apparently sometime this afternoon the RAIDERS.COM website (find the transactions tab) report Stryker Sulak as "waivers" and Frantz Joseph as "waived."

These are two different words, and mean different things, but does not rule out the Raiders making the cap without them while giving them special teams assignments. (Do I have this right?)

I reserve the right to observe this as much to do about nothing and business as usual.

But I was getting excited about depth on our defense—the the air has burst from that balloon. I'm sure more will unfold in the next 24 hours.
