For the New York Giants, there was no shortage of late-game heroics in Week 4 of the preseason.
Against the New England Patriots, the Giants completed their fifth consecutive fourth-quarter comeback in a 16-13 win. This was the first preseason contest not to end in a Corey Washington touchdown catch, as Josh Brown's 37-yard field goal with less than a minute to play provided the margin of victory.
The Giants completed an undefeated (5-0) preseason, while the Patriots' preseason record leveled out to 2-2 with the loss at MetLife Stadium. None of that matters anymore, though. Both teams will now turn their attention to the regular season, and games that actually matter.
Rosters must be trimmed to 53-men by Saturday evening, and several players from both squads either played their way on or off the team on Thursday evening.
