The Carolina Panthers defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 10-0 in the preseason finale. Both teams will meet again in Week 3 and it should be interesting to see if the Panthers can maintain the level of play that led to earning the shutout against their AFC counterpart.

Fozzy Whittaker had the game's lone touchdown as he was given support from two outstanding plays from receivers Brenton Bersin and Philly Brown. Rookies Kelvin Benjamin and Kony Ealy each had a solid game. The latter being a welcomed sight after being quiet the last two games.

Up next for the Panthers will be the regular season as the team travels to Tampa Bay to take on NFC South rival the Buccaneers. Hopefully, there won't be any injuries limiting the Panthers in Week 1. Cam Newton is expected to return to action.

Carolina ends the preseason with a record of 2-2.
