There have been many great linebackers for the Pittsburgh Steelers. I have narrowed it down to a top three, and have ranked my guys based on what I think is important. I believe that this is how they should be ranked. I realize that my opinion might not be the same as yours, so feel free to leave a comment at the end with your top three, or why you disagree.
# 3 Greg Lloyd
Greg Lloyd is arguably the meanest man to ever play the game. He not only was brutal in his hits, but he had intelligence that helped him be in the right places at the right time. He practically led the Steelers' defense after the retirement of inside linebacker David Little.
# 2 Jack Ham
Jack Ham is ranked number two, because of his intellect, his toughness, and his overall ability to play the game.He is the total package for a linebacker, and would probably be ranked number one if he had had the meanstreak of Jack Lambert.
# 1 Jack Lambert
Jack Lambert is ranked number one, because of his amazing ability to play middle linebacker, and because of his meanness that ranked him toughest player to ever play the game.
I'm going to leave you with a quote from my pick for number one, Jack Lambert, " If I could have my life to do over again, I would play professional football. And you da** well better believe I would be a Pittsburgh Steeler."
THE END!
