MK Dons Take the Lead over Manchester Utd After Terrible Defensive Error

Ryan BaileyFeatured ColumnistAugust 26, 2014

Manchester United went 1-0 behind in their League Cup visit to MK Dons after a defensive mistake by Jonny Evans in the 24th minute.

Under very little pressure in the penalty area, Evans placed the ball at the feet of Milton Keynes' Ben Reeves. He duly passed to Dons teammate William Grigg, who found the back of the net.

UPDATE: MK Dons went 2-0 up after some more lax defending allowed Grigg to chest home his second goal...

UPDATE 2: Substitute Benik Afobe made it 3-0 with his first touch of the game...

UPDATE 3: Afobe piled on the United misery with his second goal of the match to make it 4-0.
