Arsenal Mascot Gunnersaurus Does the #IceBucketChallenge

Ryan BaileyFeatured ColumnistAugust 26, 2014

The ALS #IceBucketChallenge has a been a ubiquitous and highly worthy online presence for several weeks, but now it appears that Premier League mascots are getting in on the charity fun.

Arsenal's Gunnersaurus went under the ice water at the Emirates on Tuesday, but not before nominating Tottenham's mascot Chirpy, Chelsea's Stamford the Lion and Leyton Orient's Walcott namesake Theo.

Despite his thick dinosaur skin and ability to survive for thousands of years buried under the old North Bank terrace at Highbury (so the legend goes), Gunnersaurus was left in a shivering state after the challenge.

Someone get the big green fella a towel!
