The Archer High School (Lawrenceville, Georgia) football team pulled off a clever fake punt Friday night against in-state opponent Sandy Creek (Tyrone, Georgia).

Archer quarterback Will Bearden took a direct snap from center only to be hounded by the Sandy Creek defense. However, Bearden slyly avoided the rush by transferring the ball behind his back to his other hand.

He then threw a strike to his receiver for a first down.

In the end, it seems Archer needed a few more magical plays.

They fell 21-13 to Sandy Creek.
