West Ham, a side rarely known for their attacking prowess, scored a pair of very eye-pleasing goals in the first half to give the Hammers a 2-0 lead against Crystal Palace

First, Mauro Zarate struck a well-placed shot on the volley from outside the area to score his first West Ham goal.

Minutes later, Stewart Downing (of all people), hit a curling effort to double their lead.
