Buffalo Bills: Five Things I Can't Wait For

With the start of the 2009 NFL season about two months away, I was thinking about some of the things that I am most excited for.
Obviously I am extremely pumped up for pretty much any football right now, but Buffalo Bills football is in my blood, and I just can't wait to be at Ralph Wilson Stadium, drinking an ice cold beer, grilling some food, and getting nice and rowdy with 80,000 of my best friends and enemies.
But what exactly is it, from a football standpoint, that I am most intrigued to see?
5. New Throwbacks
Now I know this isn't exactly important, but I really like the way this uniform looks. It's such a classic and we've had the blue throwbacks for a few years now and it's about time that we get to see these again.
The only thing that disappoints me is that I will not likely be able to see these in person as I've never been to a road game and probably won't be to one for some time.
4. MNF As Season Opener
The last two Monday Night Football games that the Buffalo Bills played in were heartbreaking. Both home games, they were decided by last minute field goals, neither time with the Bills coming out on top.
Yes, I know that the Bills haven't defeated the Pats in some time, but with the addition of T.O. at least there is an underlying story in the battle of two great receivers.
Also it will be very interesting to see how Tom Brady performs in his first regular season game in a year.
3. Getcha Popcorn Ready!
The last time T.O. played a game in Ralph Wilson Stadium was during that gut wrenching MNF game I just mentioned in the previous slide.
Obviously he is a Bill now, and I am extremely excited to see what he can do for the team. Hopefully it's nothing but good.
2. Lynch, Jackson, and Rhodes
Yes, I know Marshawn Lynch will be absent for the first three games (still being appealed) but I am still very excited to see what he and Fred Jackson can do this year.
Also, with the addition of Dominik Rhodes the Bills won't have to worry about losing that dual back system that has worked out the past two seasons while Lynch is suspended.
1. Edwards, Evans With Bolstered Offense
I am most excited to see one thing. Well, it's one complicated thing. The new Bills offense; most importantly how Trent Edwards and Lee Evans will improve with the addition of Terrell Owens.
No longer will defensive coordinators be able to double team Lee Evans or constantly blitz Trent Edwards. I feel that this will be a Pro Bowl year for Lee Evans, and even a possibility for Trent if he performs well.
