Jets QB Matt Simms Does the Victor Cruz Celebratory Salsa Dance After TD Pass

It probably wouldn't surprise you to see Victor Cruz's salsa dance during a preseason game.

However, it might surprise you if it was performed by Jets quarterback Matt Simms.

Update: Wednesday, August 27, 7:44 p.m. ET

Jets quarterback coach David Lee told (via The Big Lead) that he was not too pleased with Simms' dance and threatened to "castrate" him.

“He did his little salsa dance, and I got him on the phone,” Lee, the Jets’ quarterbacks coach, said with a smile. “Told him if he ever did that again I was going to castrate him.”

Well, that's exactly what happened.

During the fourth quarter the Jets' 35-24 exhibition loss to the Giants on Friday night, Simms threw a TD strike to wide receiver Greg Salas. The Jets QB immediately turned around to give the crowd a little salsa.

The ref could only put his head down and laugh.
