Former Cardiff City boss Malky Mackay was seemingly set to take the Crystal Palace job before it broke that Cardiff owner Vincent Tan sent the FA a dossier of Mackay's alleged misconduct.

Lukas Podolski, Cheick Tiote and Mario Balotelli are also mentioned as rumoured exits from their respective clubs.

Let's see what all the back pages had to say about Wednesday's events.

The Mirror simply paints the Mackay situation as Tan's revenge.
