The first half of Celtic's Champions League play-off with Slovenian side NK Maribor finished 1-1, but the Scottish side could have been in the lead—if not for Stefan Johansen's face.

In the 31st minute, Anthony Stokes swung in a perfect corner that was nodded toward goal by Dutch defender Virgil van Dijk.

However, the goal-bound attempt ricocheted off Johansen's face and back into play.

Oh dear.

UPDATE: Stefan Johansen's fortunes didn't improve much in the second half. The Norwegian went one-on-one with the Maribor goalkeeper and managed to completely fumble the opportunity...

The game finished 1-1.
