Reports state Argentinian international Carlos Tevez will attend a medical later today at Carrington, Tevez is due back from holiday this morning.

Mark Hughes is eager to have Tevez onboard for the coming Africa tour so it should not be long before Manchester City FC make it official.

Meanwhile it is reported that Manchester City are attempting to hijack AC Milan's bid to sign Brazilian striker Luis Fabiano after giving up on Samuel Eto'o.

Barcelona are apparently trying to revive City's bid for fear of seeing Eto'o leave on a free transfer next year.

At Chelsea, Roman Abramovich has apparently told John Terry he will not be sold at any price, if this is true then Terry will have no option but to see out his current contract at Chelsea.

Reports state Manchester City are preparing another bid for Everton's Joleon Lescott after failing to land John Terry.

Rumour has it City are also preparing a bid for Porto's Bruno Alves, should Everton refuse the next and final incoming bid from City.
