Johnson was fastest in final practice for the John Wayne Walding 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway Saturday. He turned a fast lap of 189.298 mph.
Johnson edged out current Chase leader Brad Keselowski by over .2 seconds in a rain-shortened 30 minute practice on Saturday morning. The No. 48 has placed first and second in the last two races at the Brickyard, and should be a top car in Sunday's 400 mile outing.
