Scott Arfield hit an incredible goal to give new Premier League side Burnley a somewhat surprising lead against presumed title contenders Chelsea.

The 25-year-old unleashed a powerful shot from range that Thibaut Courtois was powerless to stop to set off a Burnley party.

The freshly promoted side's ecstasy was short-lived, though, as the visitors responded with three consecutive first-half goals from Diego Costa, Andre Schurrle and Branislav Ivanovic.

It was a rude awakening to the unforgiving life in the Premier League.
