After being loaned out to Italian giants AC Milan, the Arsenal and Swiss center half is now contemplating where his future is going. Senderos's 2008/2009 campaign was solid, nothing too special but not disappointing either. The Swiss defender was keen to stay in Italy with Milan, but unfortunately Senderos and Milan did not see eye to eye.

So now the 24 year old is back in North London, but there has been much speculation of whether he will be playing for the Gunners in 2009/2010. Rumour has it, Arsene Wenger is eager to offload the defender in order to receive a talented midfielder who can perform the defensive duties.

But Senderos is an appealing defender because of his height and presence. Standing at 190 cm, Senderos is tall and imposing, he is more than handy defending and attacking set pieces, plus the Swiss international is experienced whilst relatively young.

Should Arsenal sell Phillippe Senderos? Arsenal are rumoured to be after Newcastle center half Sebastien Bassong. Bassong is young, talented and strong. If Arsenal do manage to add Bassong to their roster, then maybe there is little room for Senderos.

But it is more than likely that Mikeal Silvestre will depart Arsenal, which would mean Arsenal would have a total of seven central defenders in Kolo Toure, William Gallas, Thomas Vermaelen, Johan Djourou, Harvard Nodveit and Philippe Senderos.

So should Arsenal sell their tall, imposing Swiss center half, or shall Philippe Senderos stay at Arsenal?
