Joseph Morgan's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Preseason Game vs. Titans

Joseph Morgan needed all of two catches to insert himself into fantasy football discussion for the upcoming season. The 26-year-old wideout finished with three receptions for 108 yards for the New Orleans Saints in their 31-24 win over the Tennessee Titans on Friday night.

As Jeff Duncan of The Times-Picayune in New Orleans tweeted out, Morgan can be a serious weapon when he's healthy:

The four-year veteran has appeared in 14 regular-season games for the Saints, all of which came in 2012. He caught 10 passes for 379 yards and three touchdowns.

For now, Morgan should only be considered a waiver/free-agent candidate. Unless you're in a league with 20 teams, nobody's gonna spend a draft pick on him. You don't want to get too caught up in a preseason game.

He's certainly worth tracking, though. Drew Brees can work wonders with any receiver. Combine that with Morgan's big-play ability, and you get a potential sleeper, albeit a very deep one.
