The Thursday night matchup between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Chicago Bears has concluded. The Bears defeated the Jaguars 20-19 in a comeback effort.

Despite suffering the loss, the Jaguars first- and second-teams looked dominant against the Bears and were leading 19-7 before the third-team took over.

The Jaguars should feel encouraged from strong quarterback play that led the way for the team's success. Chad Henne and Blake Bortles were impressive in their second outing combining for a stat line of 23/34, 283 yards and one touchdown.

Overall, the Jaguars were an efficient team. The defense was strong allowing only 79 yards rushing and 233 yards through the air, as well as creating two turnovers.

While there's a lot for this team to improve on, this was an excellent step forward for a rebuilding franchise. Gus Bradley constantly talks about improving day-to-day and the Jaguars were able to accomplish that.
