The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is sweeping the planet.

No, really, everyone is doing it. Now so is Darren Fletcher.

The challenge to support ALS, better known as Lou Gehrig's disease, dictates that once challenged, someone must donate $100 to the cause and/or dump a bucket of ice water on their head and film it. In short, it's to raise awareness and funds for the disease.

Fletcher, Manchester United's vice-captain, took part in the challenge and challenged a certain Cristiano Ronaldo.

Will Ronaldo answer? He's got 24 hours, and the world is anxiously awaiting.
