Premier League chief Richard Scudamore's scathing attack on the since-departed Luis Suarez leads Thursday's back-page headlines.
Scudamore launched an attack on the undoubtedly talented but troubled Suarez, essentially saying good riddance to the Uruguayan lightning rod.
Also, Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany signed an extension with City, which took up some of the ink.
Metro simply took Scudamore's words for its headline: "Better off without Suarez."
The Sun leads with Kompany and his comments apparently taunting the rest of the Premier League schedule.
The Star also leads with Suarez and a story on revelations that new Manchester United signing Luke Shaw will miss up to a month with injury.
The Mirror runs with a rumour that Hull City are targeting out-of-favour Manchester United attacker Danny Welbeck.
