The Tennesssee Titans have announced that they have released former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Craphonso Thorpe. Thorpe was signed by the Titans late last season after spending time with the New York Giants and Jacksonville Jaguars in 2008.
In 2007, while Thorpe was playing with the Colts, he caught 12 passes for 70 yards and one touchdown. Thorpe was used mainly in the San Diego game when Anthony Gonzalez and Marvin Harrison were banged up.
In 2006, Thorpe played with the Lions and the Texans, but he did not receive any game action. Thorpe played with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2005, and also did not manage to hit the field. Thorpe could try the NFL again, or he could branch out to the UFL, CFL, or AFL.
