Manchester United's pursuit of Marcos Rojo and the Argentine's apparent desire for an Old Trafford switch dominate Wednesday's back pages.

David Silva's extension, Alvaro Negredo's ouster from Manchester City's Champions League squad and more also make headlines.

But none prevail like Rojo.

The Mirror leads with a story claiming Rojo has pleaded to exit his current club, Sporting Portugal, in order to move to United.
