Mets Getting Francoeur A Good Sign But Not Nearly Enough.

I was completely crushed when I first found out about the Church/Francoeur swap. However, as I studied more and more on Francoeur I think this is a good trade for my Mets.

The reasons being is Francoeur has way more potential to make the Braves regret this than Church has to make the Mets. Francoeur has speed and can see his stats boost by the change of scenery. Francoeur has potential to hit triples at the spacious Citi Field.

Regardless of who does better in their new homes, I really don't think this is going to be seen as a huge trade in the future. What I really like about this is it shows that the Mets are willing to make deals. Something they're going to have to do a lot more of if they don't want the Phillies to run far far away from them in this division.
