Adorable Baby Opossum Strikes Again During Oakland vs. Twins Clash

Tyler Brooke@TylerDBrookeSenior Analyst IIAugust 10, 2014

The Oakland Athletics currently have the best record in MLB, and they appear to have a new unofficial mascot after a couple of appearances at O.co Coliseum.

During the bottom of the sixth inning on Saturday against the Minnesota Twins, a baby opossum came out onto the field following Eric Sogard's fourth walk of the game.

This isn't the first time an opossum has made an appearance at the Coliseum. There was another opossum sighting last Monday against the Tampa Bay Rays in the 10th inning. The A's ended up winning the game 3-2 shortly after.

The baby opossum is pretty cute, but it has to say something about the Coliseum if there have been two sightings within a week.
