This is likely the most unfortunate shot of the 2014 PGA Championship.
On the eighth hole of the final round Sunday, Thorbjorn Olesen looked like he was about to get a hole-in-one, with the ball headed straight toward the hole. Unfortunately, the ball appears to hit the flag, causing it to bounce off and roll all the way off of the green.
Olesen ended up getting a bogey on the hole, showing how cruel golf can be at times. He finished the front nine at four under, with an eagle on the seventh hole helping to offset the damage of the almost-hole-in-one on the eighth.
