Diamondbacks' David Peralta Steals Home on Throw Back to Pitcher vs. Rockies

Tyler Brooke@TylerDBrookeSenior Analyst IIAugust 9, 2014

Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder David Peralta showed some great awareness at third base on Friday against the Colorado Rockies.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, Rockies catcher Michael McKenry got a little too casual with his throw back to the pitcher. As soon as he let go of the ball, Peralta dashed toward home plate, getting the steal and the run for his team.

The Diamondbacks ended up wining, 5-3, to move to 50-66 on the year.
