KANSAS CITY, MO - AUGUST 08: Manager Bruce Bochy #15 of the San Francisco Giants argues with third base umpire Gary Cederstrom #38 after Cederstrom reversed a call at third resulting in an out for Hunter Pence #8 during the 3rd inning of the game against the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium on August 8, 2014 in Kansas City, Missouri. Umpire Gary Cederstrom was making a call at third base on Friday night at Kauffman Stadium when he apparently hit a slick patch in the grass.

During the top of the second inning between the San Francisco Giants and Kansas City Royals, catcher Salvador Perez tried to throw out Joaquin Arias at third base. Cederstrom correctly called Arias safe, but then he started to slide and unintentionally did the splits.

The Royals ended up winning the game 4-2.
