Yasiel Puig is arguably one of baseball's most intriguing players. It's a rare night when he doesn't do something that catches the eye.

Friday night's game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Milwaukee Brewers was no exception.

In the seventh inning, the outfielder checked his swing against Brewers pitcher Zach Duke which resulted in a broken bat.

Amazingly, the bat never made contact with the ball.

As cool as it was to see, the Dodgers probably preferred he made contact.

Los Angeles ended up falling to Milwaukee 9-3.
