Chicago to Host Beyond Sport in 2010

The IOC has sunk to a new low playing advocate to the City of Chicago and the candidacy for the 2016 Summer Games.

Can the IOC to tell the world if they could not find any other city in the world not bidding for the next summer games that could host this event? Anybody could probably name 100 just without thinking.

With the world financial crisis, it is imaginable that any city would jump at the chance to host an event that would not only bring tourism to it but it would also create jobs and investment.

I am not trying to be critical of the Windy City because some of my most memorable sports memories were experienced there. The only thing I am trying to bring across is that if you are in the process of being selected to host such an important event as the Summer Games are; you should not be granted the rights to host the event that might give you an advantage over your competition by the same body that will be selecting the winner of the next major event.

In my honest opinion Chicago should reconsider and ask the IOC to select another city to host the event so that in the case they are selected to host the 2016 Olympics, it will not look as a set up by the IOC.
