This is a modified version of the following: Philadelphia Phillies (-170)">Bet the Philadelphia Phillies at -170

The Phillies enter tonight's game vs the Pittsburgh Pirates as -170 favorites (bet $170 to win $100). Here are a few reason's why I like the Phillies to win tonight's game:

Accuscore shows the Phillies as a 65% favorite to win

The Pirates are only 3 - 7 in their past ten and a poor 16 - 30 on the road overall this season.

Pirates starter Zack Duke has allowed over an HR per game over the past month's worth of starts. Heading into Philly this could spell trouble

The Phillies bullpen has been dynamite lately, with multiple relievers not allowing an earned run. Even Brad Lidge has been solid, striking out 7 in 4 IP over the past week.

Rollins is starting to come around, helping to pick up the slack left by the injured Ibanez.

The Pirates have hit the second fewest team HR in the NL at 56. Of this total, 9 (or 16%) were hit by the traded Nate McLouth
