Even if Landon Donovan wasn't a member of the United States Men's National Team for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Team USA wanted to pay tribute to the greatest player in United States soccer history as he prepares to step away from the game.

On Thursday, the 32-year-old announced on Facebook that this season will be his last as a professional soccer player. The U.S. Men's National team put together a highlight reel of Donovan's best moments while wearing red, white and blue in order to honor the American legend

Donovan will go out as the leading scorer in the history of Team USA and the MLS.
