An obvious Goal of the Year candidate came from an unsuspecting source: the U-20 Women's World Cup.

And what a goal it was.

Claire Lavogez of France scored on a tremendous volleyed finish to help the French to a 5-1 victory over Costa Rica.

The buildup was sensational, too, with some neat passing to set up Lavogez for her perfectly hit effort that left all in awe.
