In this article I am going to go through 10 individuals who,in my opinion, are 10 of the best wrestlers on the mic in the 00's.

These wrestlers are in my opinion the best wrestlers on the mic in WWE but remember it is just my opinion and not fact.

If you feel I have left anybody out who you think should be here I would be glad to take on board your opinions.

So I hope you enjoy the read...

10 - Randy Orton

As regards wrestling ability he is one of the best in ring performers the WWE have at the moment. This can also be said for his performances on the mic.

In recent times Orton has got plent of mic time and has excelled in this area of his work. His ability to deliver a convincing promo on how he hates wrestlers and his determination to get back the world title is unparallelled.

However Orton is still learning as he is still a young superstar and has plenty of time to improve on this ranking.

9 - Edge

Edge is another wrestler who is very convincing on the mic. WWE showed they appreciated his skill on the mic by granting him his own show 'The Cutting Edge'.

This segment has proven important in developing Edge's rivalaries. Edge has proven his ability on the mic numerous times and is certainly one of the best performers on the mic in WWE at the moment

8- Triple H

The ranking for Triple H will, I have no doubt, cause outcry amongst some members of b/r.

Now before you start complaining about this let me give my reasons for this ranking. In the 90's there is no doubt that Triple H's hilarious promo's would have put him in contention for a place in the top 3.

But this slideshow isn't about the 90's its about the 00's. Triple H still manages to be one of the best wrestlers on the mic now but he is not as good as some other wrestlers and this is why he is ranked so low.

7- Santino Marella

In 2007 Santino made his first appearance in the WWE. But it is since his heel turn that santino has really began to perform on the mic. His wrestling abilities aren't the best but as regards his mic skills the oppisite must be said.

For a mid card wrestler the amount of time he has received on live TV is amazing. His promos about the honky tonk man were hilarious and when performing as santina he made everybody laugh.

It is because of the way he can make people laugh is the reason he received such a high ranking.

6- Eddie Guerrero

Truly one of the greatest performers on the mic in the modern era. He had an ability to provide oand emotional segments whenever he spoke.

He was always able to make the fans laugh and always able to convince them he meant what he said. This was one of the reasons Eddie Guerrero will never be forgotten by the WWE Universe

5- Shawn Michaels

A legend in the ring and a legend on the mic. He was able to perform powerful, emotional and humorous segments in the 90's and after his return in 2002 he proved he still had this ability.

Even when he isn't wrestling he can still have a major impact on a rivalry with his mic skills, e.g. his rivalry with Ric Flair.

He is one of the best in ring performers in WWE history and is also one of the best performers on the mic in WWE history.

4- Stone Cold Steve Austin

One of the sole reasons the Attitude Era was a success was Stone Cold Steve Austins ability to use the mic. He showed he was still able to use his ability on the mic during his reign as co general manager on raw. He was able to remain in WWE over this skill despite being no longer able to wrestle.

This ability also added fuel to the fire for his rivalries with wrestlers such as Triple H and The Rock. He will always be remembered as one of the greatest performers on the mic in WWE history

3 - Ric Flair

Ric Flair is one of if not the greatest wrestler of all time. His in ring ability was amazing but so was his ability on the mic.

He will be forever remembered by WWE fans for his great matches and powerful promos. He was always able to use this ability on the mic to develop his rivalries and for this he will always be remembered by WWE and all wrestling fans alike.

2- Chris Jericho

Without a doubt the best wrestler on the mic in WWE at the moment and one of the best on the mic at all time. His first appearance in WWE was on the mic and since then he has given us many enjoying performances on the mic.

Whether he is a heel or a face he is always convincing on the mic. He is a great in ring performer but Jericho will be remembered as one of the best performers on the mic ever.

1- The Rock

Known as the 'GREAT One' by fans, this is certainly the case with him while he is on the min. He is the most entertaining wrestler of the 00's on the mic. His ability in the ring although it was amazing cannoot compare to his ability on the mic.

His ability on the mic was the in my opinion one of the main reasons for hi pursuing a career in acting and the fact he has a career in acting further cements the fact he is the greatest wrestler on the mic of 00's
