Jordan Brand and Blake Griffin Work Together to Create Jordan Super.Fly 3 Shoes

Thanks to Jordan Brand, Los Angeles Clippers star Blake Griffin will have some new shoes to wear on the court next season.

Griffin worked with a team of designers to help create the new Jordan Super.Fly 3 sneakers. Of course, Nike wanted to come up with a shoe that would help the high-flyer throw down some highlight-reel dunks during games.

Nike unveiled the new shoes in a press release on Wednesday.

The designers incorporated FlightPlate in the shoes, which is supposed to give the person wearing the kicks "the power for flight." The shoe also includes the Flight Web fit system, which provides support on cuts and jumps.

The outsole, which provides durability, was based on the design of the AJ XX9. 

There will be more than one color scheme available.

The Jordan Super.Fly 3 shoes will hit store shelves on Oct. 1. Fans can purchase the sneakers in either color scheme for $140.
