The Pro Wrestling business has seen many great things; it has seen records been broken, streaks ended, and everything in between.

Wrestling has seen some great records been broken and some that might be in the near future. We have seen streaks ended and one that is possibly.

I am here to show you some of the streaks and records that have stood and some that have been broken but are still recognized today.

We have seen some of the great record and streaks and wrestling and this is my list of the top record and streaks.

This part one of a two-part series I will talk about which are possible to be broken or surpassed.

The Rock (above) held the WWE Championship seven times, a record that had been broken at No Way Out as Triple H made the record eight.

John Cena WWE Championship Reign (380 Days)

Display_image

Cena did what really had been done for a long time as he held the belt for a little over a year and I think it would have been much longer if he didn't get hurt.

Cena beat everyone that was put in front of him, holding the richest title in this day in age is like trying to do what the Undertaker has done at WrestleMania.

This record started at Unforgiven against Edge in the TLC match was Cena left with his title in Edge's hometown and ended when he tore his pectoral muscle thanks to Mr. Kennedy and Randy Orton.

Cena got hurt executing a hip toss against Mr. Kennedy.

I think even though this is not even close to Backlund, Hogan, or Sammartino this is up there because of the circumstances and how Championship reigns are today.

Cena beat Edge, Khali, Umaga, Michaels, and Orton during those 380 days.

It was the longest WWE Championship reign in 19 years.

Demolition Tag Team Championship Reign (478 Days)

Display_image

One of the greatest, if not the greatest, tag team held the WWE Tag Team Championship for 478 days, almost a year and a half. This was one of the most dominant tag teams in pro wrestling, period.

I always say it's not about how many titles you hold, but how long you hold them that make you a great champion.

Ax and Smash beat the Strike Force (Martel and Santana) at WrestleMania IV, starting one of the most dominant runs in not only WWE but wrestling history.

They would beat teams like the British Bulldogs, Hart Foundation, Powers of Pain and would beat the Brain Busters who they would lose the titles to at Saturday Night Main Event at the end of July 1989.

It is still a shock to me how this group is not in the Hall of Fame and I hope to see them there soon.

Honky Tonk Man Intercontinental Champion Reign (454 Days)

Display_image

The Honky Tonky Man, like Santino Marella likes to say, holds the record for the longest Intercontinental Championship reign in WWE history.

He rolled, rattled and shook his way into the record books as he would win the Intercontinental title against Ricky Steamboat, where he was a replacement for Butch Reed, to win the title and the rest his history.

Honky Tonk Man was the king of getting DQ'd just to make sure he held his title.

He would go on to face and beat some of his bitter rivals like Steamboat, Billy Jack Haynes, Bruno Sammartino, George "The Animal" Steele, Macho Man Randy Savage, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake and "Outlaw" Ron Bass, who got hurt before SummerSlam.

His replacement would be the Ultimate Warrior who would end his streak at one year, two months and 27 days, a record that still stands today.

Gregory Helms longest SmackDown Champion in history as the Cruiserweight Champion (385 Days)

Display_image

Gregory Helms will be forever remembered as the first and maybe last longest reigning Champion in SmackDown history as he held the Cruiserweight title for 385 days.

It's also noted that he is the longest-reigning Cruiserweight Champion in history.

Helms won the title at the 2006 Royal Rumble in a battle royal and went on to win beating Kid Kash. He would start on his road to history.

He would beat the whole entire Cruiserweight division and to me one of the most dominant performances by one person in any division.

Helms reign came to an end when Chavo Guerrero won a battle royal at No Way Out in 2007.

Helms crushed the previous record of 162 days held by Tajiri.

Fabulous Moolah longest Women's Champion Reign (10,170 Days)

Display_image

Moolah was the first recognized Women’s Champion in wrestling history in 1956.

She had held the title for 27 years 10 months, and 5 days or 10,170 days, you put the entire WWE Divas career together right now and they don't come close to the reign she had as Women's Champion.

This is one of the greatest record and/or streak in pro wrestling.

Moolah defeated Judy Grable to win the title in 1956, Moolah would hold the title until she lost it 1984 to Wendi Ritcher in the main event "The Brawl to End All".

Moolah was rightfully put into the Hall of Fame in 1995.

She left us on Nov. 2, 2007.

To the Divas and Knockouts today, that is a true icon.

Hulk Hogan WWE Championship Reign (1,474 Days) Modern Era

Display_image

Hulk Hogan is second all-time for holding the WWE Championship with 1,474 days and beat everyone in his path.

Hulk-A-Mania was born when he won the title from the Iron Sheik in Madison Square Garden.

He would beat everyone that came in his way like Sheik, Bundy, Orndorff, Andre, Muraco, Funk and everyone in between.

Hogan is the greatest to ever grace a wrestling ring and his title reign made sure of that.

Hogan held the title for the first three WrestleManias and won every match.

He lost the title to Andre the Giant in February right before WrestleMania IV and would end the record of the modern day era for 1,272 consecutive days as champion.

Bruno Sammartino WWE Championship Reign (2,803 Days) Classic Era

Display_image

Sammartino’s nearly eight years as WWE Champion is a feat that may never be duplicated. The reign is the longest WWE Championship reign in wrestling history.

A man that could go down as one of the greatest WWE Champions in history held a title back in the hay day for nearly eight years. The exact record is seven years, eight months, and one day.

He was the face of that generation as he beat the great heels like Kowalski, Von Erich, The Shiek, Blassie, Watts, Gorilla Monsoon and George "The Animal" Steele.

He would become one of the, if not the greatest champ in history. Backlund came in a close second, even though its questioned to this day about having lost and had his title held up with 2,135 days.

Trish Stratus: 7 Women's Championships

Display_image

Trish is one of the most decorated Women Champions in wrestling history. She has held the title seven times and she has left her mark on all seven of those title reigns.

Trish has beaten everyone in the Women's division and dominated it from the year 2000 until her retirement in 2006.

She won her first title in a six-woman match but lost to Jazz later on the next year.

Her second title reign came when she won her title back in a tag match but soon lost it Molly Holly.

Trish third title reign came when she beat Molly for her title and she would win her fourth after losing it to Victoria but then beating Victoria and Jazz for it at WrestleMania XIX tied her for the most women's titles won with the Fabulous Moolah.

Her fifth title reign and the one that surpassed Moolah when she won the title at Bad Blood, her sixth would be won and then lost just like that but her last one was for one night as she retired after beating Lita in her hometown and becoming a seven-time Women's Champion.

I hope to see her in the Hall of Fame next year.

Chris Jericho: Nine and Counting Intercontinental Championships

Display_image

Chris Jericho will go down as the greatest Intercontinental Champion in wrestling history. Period.

Chris Jericho has always found his way to gold and he is nearly at double digits with 10 with another Intercontinental Championship win.

Here is the list of the wrestlers he beat to win nine IC titles.

First: Chyna at Armageddon 1999
Second: Chris Benoit at SmackDown May 4, 2000
Third: Chris Benoit at 2001 Royal Rumble in a Ladder Match
Fourth: RVD at Raw in 2002
Fifth: RVD at Raw on Oct. 27, 2003
Sixth: Christian at Unforgiven in 2004
Seventh: Shelton Benjamin at Raw in 2004
Eight: Jeff Hardy at Raw on March 10, 2007
Ninth: Rey Mysterio at Extreme Rules in 2009

He is a sure Hall of Famer and can't wait to see him be inducted.

Ric Flair 16 Time World Champion

Display_image

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair is a 16 time World Champion, take that in 16 times, got it good because there are a lot of one-hit wonders, but winning it 16 times is crazy but only the Nature Boy can do it.

Flair is a former NWA, WCW and WWE World Champion and has held those titles and defended them like no one else has.

Flair is retired and the record for now will stand, but I will talk about more in the second part of this article.

Flair held the NWA title six times, WCW title eight times and WWE title two times.

This is a record that will be interesting to watch in the coming years.

Team 3D: 22-Time Tag Team Championship

Display_image

Team 3D, like Demolition, is one of the greatest if not the greatest tag teams in history.

They have held 22 Tag Team titles for five different companies even though they only wrestled in four, that's how good they are.

Team 3D Tag Team Championship History:

ECW: 8 Times
WCW: 1 Time
WWE: 9 Times
TNA: 3 Times

This team has grown to a power house and they still are today, they really have nothing else to prove because they will be in the Hall of Fame once they retire and it will be a great thing to see.

Edge 29 Championships and Counting; 12 Tag Team Championships

Display_image

The Rated R Superstar, The Ultimate Opportunist, The Master Manipulator, Mr. Money in the Bank and my personal favorite, King Edge the Awesome, has held 29 Championships, including 12 Tag Team Championships.

Edge's Championships held:
WCW/WWE United States Championship: 1 Time
World Heavyweight Championship: 5 Times
WWE Tag Team Championship (World Tag Titles now): 12 Times
WWE Intercontinental Championship: 5 Times
WWE Championship: 4 Times
WWE Tag Team Championship: 2 Times

Edge has showed us his growth ever since he started and to me is one of the greatest to come to the WWE and if you didn't really know he is one of the loyal wrestlers to wrestle for the WWE.

He holds the record for both total titles and Tag titles in the WWE and is sure to be called up to the Hall of Fame.

Bill Goldberg 173-0

Display_image

Bill Goldberg went 173-0 to start is pro wrestling career, not many can say they did that, well no one can say they could but the man that is Goldberg.

He beat everyone on the roster two times over. Goldberg was a United States and World Champion during his streak.

A man that was molded into what WCW wanted, I can say this is the one great thing that came out of WCW.

Goldberg lost at Starrcade 1998 against Kevin Nash thanks to Scott Hall.

That was one of six losses he had in WCW. He lost three to Bret Hart and one to Kevin Nash, Scott Steiner and Booker T.

Goldberg was the foundation that WCW layed down for him in the Fall of 1997 until the end of WCW.

For a modern day wrestlers in the 1990's it was impossible for someone to do it but it was the first time it had been done since another giant got it done.

Andre the Giant 15-Year Undefeated Streak

Display_image

"The Eight Wonder of the World" Andre the Giant is the greatest big man in pro wrestling history. This man was truly a gift from the man upstairs, he was a kind-hearted person.

Andre was loved by many superstars and fans around the world and when he got in that ring, it was something magic.

Andre was undefeated for 15 years something that will never be done before and something that will not happen again.

The only reason he didn't win the the title more than once is because he would have shattered the eight-year record of Bruno, he dominated the business more with out the title and he did it in grand fashion.

His first loss was the biggest match in wrestling history none the less WrestleMania history when he was body slammed, leg-dropped and pinned for the three count by Hulk Hogan.

Andre the Giant was the first inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and it is well deserved. Andre the Giant, the greatest big man.

Undertaker WrestleMania 17-0.......and counting

Display_image

WrestleMania is one thing for sure.........The Undertaker's Yard.

The Undertaker is 17-0 and counting.

Undertaker has done it all, he has won Championships, beat everyone there is to beat and holds the greatest streak in pro wrestling history.

R.I.P.

WrestleMania VII: Jimmy Snuka 1-0
WrestleMania VIII: Jake "Snake" Roberts 2-0
WrestleMania IX: Giant Gonzalez 3-0
WrestleMania XI: King Kong Bundy 4-0
WrestleMania XII: Diesel 5-0
WrestleMania 13: Sycho Sid 6-0 (Won WWE Championship)
WrestleMania XIV: Kane 7-0
WrestleMania XV: Big Bossman 8-0 (Hell in the Cell)
WrestleMania X-Seven: Triple H 9-0
WrestleMania X8: Ric Flair 10-0
WrestleMania XIX: Big Show & A-Train 11-0
WrestleMania XX: Kane 12-0
WrestleMania 21: Randy Orton 13-0
WrestleMania 22: Mark Henry 14-0 (Casket Match)
WrestleMania 23: Batista 15-0 (Won World Heavyweight Championship)
WrestleMania XXIV: Edge 16-0 (Won World Heavyweight Championship)
WrestleMania XXV: Shawn Michaels 17-0

When you look at that list of who he has beaten I see Hall of Famers, Champions, World Strongest Man, Sychos and everything in between.

The Undertaker will be in the Hall of Fame and when he gets in the should give him his own wing because he has made the gimmick work for almost 20 years this year.

This is a streak I would hate to see be broken.

WrestleMania 26: ___________ 18-0?
