After completing his multi-million pound move to Real Madrid, James Rodriguez has hit training for the club for the first time.

The Colombian, like other members of the Real squad who made the knockout stages of the World Cup, only had to report for training later in the summer.

Real are in America as part of their USA tour at present, but that side, while still impressive, doesn't feature the likes of James, Karim Benzema (also pictured), Toni Kroos and more.

The club's La Liga campaign begins on the weekend of August 23, while their first official fixture of the season is the UEFA Super Cup against Sevilla in Cardiff on August 12, which could see James' debut.
