Movable, Sliding Seats Will Debut in Australia vs. New Zealand Test Match

Some very lucky fans will try out sliding seats for the first time when Australia take on New Zealand at the start of the Rugby Championship in Sydney on August 16.

The chairs, created by electronics firm Samsung, will move along the touchline and keep fans level with the play throughout the game. 

The SlideLiner can reach speeds above 12 mph. According to Samsung Australia's Arno Lenior, per BBC Sport, "If the Wallabies are getting close to the All Blacks' try line, you'll be right there in the action and at kick-off you'll be back at halfway."

The first users will be competition winners, as Samsung will be giving away four places on the inaugural ride.

As if keeping level with the play wasn't cool enough, the SlideLiner is also joystick-operated and features a cool box as well as four cameras and a tablet, so you can make all your friends jealous by live-tweeting the event.
