baseball Doug Melvin has acknowledged that he will make the call on Roy Halladay to possibly gauge what trade options the Brewers have at this point. Personally, from the rumors I have heard, the Brewers would have to give up anyone with value to get him. This may be a lost cause already, though the once piece the Jays may like would be Escobar.  Read the article here.

baseball Jesse Motiff writes more on the possibility of bringing Halladay to Milwaukee. He notes that if the Brewers give up Escobar, they’d be out of SS’s in the minors. They’d better sign J.J. or move someone else to SS if that’s the case. It’s thought that Hardy may bold for the D’Backs after 2010. Check it out.
