In the final minutes of the 2014 MLB trade deadline, another blockbuster deal was confirmed.

First reported by Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal, and later confirmed by USA Today's Bob Nightengale, David Price has been dealt to the Detroit Tigers as part of a three-way trade involving the Tampa Bay Rays and the Seattle Mariners. The Rays will receive pitcher Drew Smyly, infielder Nick Franklin and prospect Willy Adames, while the Mariners will pick up outfielder Austin Jackson.
