Baltimore Fans Cheer for Ray Rice at Ravens Training Camp
Kyle NewportFeatured Columnist IVSeptember 2, 2016

While much of the general public is still not ready to forgive Ray Rice for his actions this offseason, Baltimore Ravens fans had no problem cheering on the running back at training camp on Monday.

Rice's offseason was marred by a domestic violence incident that resulted in a two-game suspension. The incident has severely damaged Rice's reputation, and many people have voiced their disappointment in the Ravens star.

However, Baltimore fans stood by their player when he stepped onto the field at M&T Bank Stadium for the first time since the incident:

It probably isn't too surprising that the home crowd showed its player some love, but the general public may not support what Ravens fans do.

Should fans stand by a player on their favorite team after a troubling incident?
