Chelsea will line up opposite a side with whom they've shared a fruitful coexistence in recent years, travelling to Arnhem, where they'll take on Dutch upstarts Vitesse.
The GelreDome has served as something of an Eredivisie outpost for the Blues in recent seasons, with a long line of Chelsea prospects recently heading to Arnhem, such as Lucas Piazon, Patrick van Aanholt, Christian Atsu and many, many more.
All allegiances will be put aside on Wednesday, however, as both teams seek to take the next step in their preparation for the 2014-15 season, with viewing details and match preview discussed ahead.

Key Players to Watch
Vitesse Arnhem: Kelvin Leerdam
Even with a weakened setup, Jose Mourinho's side is bound to have a greater portion of the possession on Wednesday, meaning that Vitesse's back line will have a hefty burden in restraining the Blues' stellar attack.
However, Kelvin Leerdam is also a man who can inject a great deal of impetus moving forward with the ball, and last season, OptaJohan highlighted his effectiveness from set pieces in particular:
9 - Kelvin Leerdam has scored nine of his 13 Eredivisie goals from a corner kick. Habit.— OptaJohan (@OptaJohan) April 12, 2014
Naturally a right back, Leerdam would seem nailed on to face Isaiah Brown and Filipe Luis, both of whom have already shown good form in pre-season, but Mourinho has a mass of wide talents at his disposal.
And the battle is no easier for Leerdam if he lines up in his alternative midfield anchor role, where Cesc Fabregas and Nemanja Matic will most likely be awaiting him.
With eight goals in 28 Eredivisie appearances last term, the former Netherlands under-21 star was his club's third-highest scorer and will need to conjure up an extremely balanced performance against the Blues this week.
Chelsea: Kurt Zouma
During the 2013-14 campaign, Vitesse opted for a 4-3-3 formation for the majority of their campaign, which can make life difficult for the centre-back unable to track effectively.
Kurt Zouma's pre-season ascension within Mourinho's ranks was boosted by his first goal for the club against Olimpija Ljublijana on Sunday, per Carefree Youth, but there are still defensive lapses present that need to be addressed:
Vitesse's will be the most accomplished attack the former St. Etienne defender has come up against thus far in his Chelsea career.
Zouma's aggression needs to be smoothed out in particular, and although he's produced some fine form already in preseason, Wednesday provides us with the best indicator yet as to whether or not he's cut out for Chelsea just yet.
