Paul Goydos and Bryce Molder are the top two on a cumulative money list taken from The Players Championship and the five PGA Tour events leading up to and including the 2009 AT&T National.

Brandt Snedeker is in for being in the first five and ties of 2009 AT&T National.

Playing members of the 2008 United States Ryder Cup teams include J. B. Holmes and Boo Weekley. The members of the losing European team had previously qualified otherwise.

Mark Brown was in first place on the 2008 PGA Tour of Australasia Order of Merit.

Richard Sterne was in first place on the 2008 Sunshine Tour Order of Merit.

Prayad Marksaeng and Azuma Yano are the first two on the 2008 Official Money List of the Japan Golf Tour.

The four leading players Ryo Ishikawa, Tomohiro Kondo, Kenichi Kuboya and David Smail

in the 2009 Mizuno Open Yomiuri Classic
